DESCRIPTION

Brutethink is a technique based on random stimuli and is defined in detail in the book Thinkertoys.

The process is

  1. bring in a random word into the problem (from a dictionary, newspaper, book...)
  2. Think of things associated with the random word
  3. Force connections between the random word, and the challenge, also between the associated things and the challenge.
  4. List all your ideas.
